“…once difficulty is accepted as a foundation, it no longer surprises you or stops you from building a lifestyle that rises above it.” {Marc and Angel}

‘But what if I don’t want to accept it?’, you may ask.
‘Ah, well. Good luck with that one’, replies the pretend person in this made-up conversation.
I’m amazed at how often I want life to be easy. {And why am I amazed?}
Well, when my kids are dragging around, moaning and complaining about how tough their day is, I am always reminding them that these boring, difficult things they have to do make them stronger and get them ready to face the big, wide world out ‘there’.
So if I know they have to go through the tough stuff in order to prepare them for ‘one’ day, then why do I think that very process changes down the road for me? {Meh.}
“Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” {James 1:4, Online Parallel}
Wins require practice.
Prizes are the rewards of great effort.
And neither of those are easy.
But, in the end, they are so worth it. Right…?
{Yeah, I know. Meh.}
Cheer up. Your superbowl ring is right around the corner. But it requires a winning record. Which can’t happen if you quit now.
Allow me to share a song that was running through my head when I woke up this morning.
